Urto was born in 1998 in Sicily with the straight aim to play thrash metal as the guys were strongly influenced back then by a local famous band, Nuclear Symphony (an album out for Steamhammer Records). "Numbers" is their debut release, call it a Full-lenght or a MCD, this is it: 6 tracks in almost 35 minutes of speed thrash metal filled with strong guitar riffs, powerful rhythmical section, good vocal lines, but what's more important, a 100% '80's thrash metal atmosphere. I like a lot the bassist which shows a huge potential. I would say their music is somewhere between Testament, Exodus and Metallica, all from their '80's periods, so if you're a nostalgic of those years, Urto might be a good choice to remember. I like it a lot. The most interesting thing in Urto is their message through lyrics. All songs are anti-war, but the guy who writes lyrics (Mimmo) is pretty stong in beliefs and has a lot of guts to do it. My deepest respects! The cover-artwork might have been better...
