Review: I knew this band being a part of Scarlet Records' rooster and that they have released another album this year, "Ballet of the Brute", but it seems they have made a quick choice for this bigger, more important choice. Hatesphere comes from Denmark and they have a pretty good reputation after their shows with Morbid Angel or Lengh Tch'e, and tour with Kreator and Ektomorf. Beside that, one of the members, Jacob, is a sound-engineer also, so he did a name by himself mixing for different metal bands. Anyway, let's pass on to this album. "The Sickness Within" is a melodic thrash death album with modern sound and ideas, so if you like this old school of melodic death metal and you want something more forceful and aggressive than In Flames this might be a good option. Also if you like the thrash and death metal combination realized on new standards and with a modern sound, Hatesphere is a good choice. They are not at all out of the ordinary, but they are playing well, faultless and maybe if they'll keep it on, they could gain more listeners.
