Review: The first album for 2006 that reaches us, "Worlds of Lies" will be released on the 30th of January. I've read about this band before, although I wasn't aware they will release another album, and I found out they have 5 albums out (if I remember correctly) and they're considered one of the most extreme bands from all over the world. OK, so I knew it's a grind metal piece, but I never thought of a so tight and well-conceived band. Everything inhere's so curdled and tied up that's impossible to discover weak points. Most of the time this is straight-forward, machine-gun type, but the guys have some slower parts used as "calm before the storm" parts. The drums is in fact a drum-machine as no human being will ever be able to shoot such insane rhythms. There are two kind of vocals: low-tuned growls and those "under-water" kind of vocals with heaps of effects on 'em. Grindcore freaks and not only will highly appreciate this. The production is faultless! Anyway, if you're one of those who hate drumming programs and synthetic, industrial sounds you should stay away.
