Review: It is said Scars are one respected metal band in South America nowadays and that's why I can't understand why aren't they signed yet and why this album is a self-produced one. This is their debut album after a demo back in 2002, and two appearances on some compilations. Scars goes on ways Slayer, Sodom or Kreator used to dwell years ago, so we have a thrash metal outfit here. Good compositions characterized by strong, powerful and catchy rhythms, good vocals, aggressive rhythm section and very good guitar solos (two of them made by the special guests on this CD: Frank Gosdzik, former member of Sodom and Kreator and Ciero from Broken Heads). For nostalgics of this genre this is a perfect choice and for those who are not so familiar with the gods of this style, ti can be a good try-out option. Fast, evil thrash metal!
