Review: No, this is not the biggest Romanian band, Phoenix, these are USA's own Phoenix, an alternative rock, hip-hop filled band aiming for the mainstream. They mostly resemble to Papa Roach, so if I gave you this name I guess it's easy now to figure out how's their sound. Unfortunatelly some tracks on this cD are very boring and have nothing attractive; instrumentally talking this band is almost zero and if it was't for the electro samples from the background this would have been a complete zero, but I guess their music is based on vocals and lyrics, which are preety good. The music is simple, it might get to the kids, but it gets so monotonous from time to time I guess noone will have the curiosity to go for the whole CD (the guitar riffs give you the impression the whole is just a prelude to the actual music). Some parts of the CD are very catchy so if the band will stop and listen carefully and then take out the monotonous parts from their music, their next album could be a hit. It's very good the tracks are short. The track "Run" is featuring 2 guests from the hip-hop scene and maybe that gives me the impression I'm listening to Body Count.
