Review: Strange name for a band, but at this time when thousands and thousands of bands are on the scene I guess everything is possible. Nostradamus 0014 is a strange band and they are taking advantage of that by making their image and presentation on the same strange level. Just buy their CD and you'll see I'm right. From its cover artwork, to its music and even lyrics' presentation Nostradamus 0014 are trying something different. Now, musically speaking they are some sort of twisted, progressive and wicked hardcore band with a lot of influences from nowadays metalcore scene, especially in vocals. They could easily be part of the Spanish Underhill Records' rooster, and to make it short, they are some sort of Dillinger Escape Plan meets metalcore, meets psycho thrash, meets technical cyber death, meets some alternative touches, if you can immagine such a thing, but all in all they are pretty brutal and aggressive, recommended only to those of you used to such sonorities. Too bad it's such a short CD...
