Review: Mortal Decay are back with a new album and a new singer this time. "Cadaver Art" is a new splash of ultra-brutal gore death metal the American way and as I see it Mortal Decay is confirming their respected status in the scene with this opus. The rhythm is mostly fast, lightened by some technical guitar solos so I say this is a combination of Dying Fetus and Hate Eternal. It's aggressive, it's fast, it's brutal and gruesome, so it's one of those releases that characterizes the death metal genre, but in spite of all that it's still not a groundbreaking release. Kevin, the new vocalist seems to have his own word in the band already and helped in the background by John's and Justin's horrible (in a good way) screams, are an important piece on this album. The cover-artwork is impressive symbolizing perfectly the whole concept behind this band.
