Review: I guess Light This City is at the second album with this one, so it is supposed they have some experience and not sound like shit. And that's true. I have their first album as well which is not a bad one either. In comparison to the previous L.T.C. have now a better production and a much tighter composition, but that's not enough these days, with all these clones of this Gothemburg melodic and technical death metal. They can be thrown in that same pot, another clone. If you like this style, that Arch Enemy sound, L.T.C. might appeal to you, but only if you're a maniac. If not, you'll find a band that has very good instrumentists, with impressive instrumental execution, but with no new or innovative ideas on their side and after some listenings they tend to bore or even annoy you. The band's name is stupid, also, but they are from the States... All in all this is a good effort but not enough to break in the European market which is fed up with those bands.
