Darkside 4 Total time: 38:38 Review: Let's have a little chat before reviewing this. Lately most of the rock scene is against the new wave of metal music called nu-metal. I think this is not because of the music itself or of the bands playing it, but because of the majority of the people listening to it. Many of them are nothing more than posers, high-school kids that are rockers only for a year or twobeing influenced by the combination of metal and rap, with new electronic sounds. Saying this I'm preparing you for the next band. Figure Of Six comes from Italy and plays, as you already guessed it, nu-metal. I'm more of an old-school guy with fave bands coming from the more heavy side of rock, but I must confess this CD here really brew me away! FO6 are a combination of Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and Slipknot, The best underground band on that genre that I've ever heard! They are destined to become a big, big band for sure as this album here is 99% perfect, the remaining 1% is for their early stage, this being their debut. The music is so groovy, so catchy, so aggressive and yet so melodic and sensible that "Step One" will become a little step for music, but a big, enormous step for FO6, an astonishing debut, a magnificent release.
