Review: Another Manowar clone, image-talking, but that is not necessary bad. I always like bands working on a visual part of their music too and Feanor is really a good looking band: leather, spikes, blood, muscles, swords and battles. It's great to see such an image when we are talking of a heavy metal band. Better than to see them in jeans and Nike shoes. So, at this point Feanor is above a lot of European bands too. I've heard their music before on a Latino American compilation, alongside with bands like Lorihem, Tren Loco or 1917. Basically if you have heard epic metal bands like Tierra Santa or Ankhara, this is on the same path, but what's identic is the same vocal pattern that I don't like at all, that screamy child-like type of vocals high tuned and mixed to be in the back of the whole instrumental part. The music is great heavy metal, clean and powerful, exactly as it is supposed to be. Feanor proves to be one of the best bands in Argentinian heavy metal scene, especially if Secret Port will manage to bring them in Europe for a tour. If you like heavy metal bands with Spanish lyrics you might try Feanor too, Secret Port have some special prices for it, as they say. Great guitarists, by the way!
