Review: I did what they said (notice them that I have received the CD as they'll send afterwards the track list), but had no answer. At the moment I'm doing this review I sent them a questionaire for an interview so hopefully we'll soon have an interview with Dynabyte on Tempest Music & More. As you can see in the line-up we find Cadaveria (ex-Opera IX, Cadaveria) which might be a highlight of the band, as she's worldwide known for her style of singing whioh made Opera IX famous. Dynabyte was formed in 1998 by John, LJ Dusk and Giallo (now in Pornoshock) as a cover-band, but in '99 they found their way and released a first demo with a big Fear Factory's influence. In 2001 Cadaveria fills up the empty place left after Giallo's departure and the things are starting to move ahead. In 2003 they sign a deal with Rotten Inc. and so "Extreme Mental Piercing" is out a year later. This year it was released by CD-Maximum for the Russian market as well and the band also recorded their first video for a single extracted from this album, "I'm My Enemy". The 10 tracks existent of this album could be considered as a mix of electro, industrial, techno and metal with cadaveria singing her usual way (sometimes normal and very feminine, and sometimes aggressive and screamy) and a great deal of effects all over the place. If they'll find a right way to do their tracks more catchy and memorable, this band has their future ensured.
