Review: This EP is the prequel of Amenthes' debut album, "It Could All Have Vanished", that should appear this year. Hopefully the album won't have the same shitty sound. It's hard to distinguish all the instruments and although I know how hard it is to record more instruments with a perfect sound, these tracks aren't good sounding enough to make this product a real EP; more a Demo CD. Their music is gothic doom with some aggressivity taken from the death metal field. Sorry but I see it quite average and mediocre as they don't have any original points of really catchy rhythms; it's not bad, not good, but average, with long tracks without colour. This feeling may be induced by the poor sound (the guitar sound is simply breaking my nerves), so I hope the album will be recorded in better conditions. This Ep contains a bonus video track recorded live. I think the last track is better than the rest from many points of view: a better use of keys, a good clean male vocal and a quite catchy rhythm, although it is more than 9 minutes long...
