Their label now, Unique Leader, sais they have a cult status at the moment and they are considered a kind of Swedish Deicide, but on a statement they are wrong, the one where the band is presented as black death metal. Well, I can't see any obvious black metal touches inhere... this album is made instead on an aggressive death metal (Morbid Angel/Diecide) with grinding punches, especially in drumming (blast beats). Most of the time Aeon are hyper-fast, but they still try some technical touches like Deicide does. They put a lot of work in this release and this can be seen starting from its sound , a crystal-clear powerful one, then at it's production, Aeon are presented in a really attractive package filled with professional image and photos and great 16 pages booklet.
