There's a long time since Tempest's mailbox was assaulted by dark ambient projects. One of the last I reviewed was horrible and made me quite sceptic for other, new names, but that doesn't mean I'm against this style. Not at all. So, Abbildung presents us here their debut CD with a title impossible to write twice if you're not a German language connaisseur. I'm a total ignorant in what concerns that, so it was a hard time to write thhat twice, hehe. Now, about their music, Abbildung plays a dark, ambiental music with a quite impressive atmosphere. Although simplistic, with no vocals (except few human words impossible to understand) or other instruments than synths, Abbildung really takes you to other spaces in place and time. The world painted by this project is cold, dark-covered, funeral and slow, not offensive at all but not opened either. So this is a great option for all of you into this type of strange music. From time to time I even forgot I was listening music...it blended with my mood, which is not an often feeling... I'll keep an eye on this Abbildung, it follows Thy Veils' steps... Ah, forgot to mention this CD has a multimedia part too containing a videoclip (amatourish footage of the night or different landscapes) and all the necessary info on Abbildung.
