Review: May be that this world is so fast now that the more and more albums are such short in lenght nowadays? I think so. This is the case of Methedras as well, because even if this is a full-lenght album, it has only 31 minutes of playing... In some cases that's a relief if the band plays horrible, but Methedras is quite catchy and powerful to make you enjoy these 9 tracks and even ask for more. This is their first album, after a period of 8 years of testing the underground with 2 demos and a lot of gigs (with the such as Entombed, Tankard and Carnal Forge), so you can guess they are up to something big now. their musical style can be characterized by a combination of the old styles of thrash (Testament and Nuclear Assault) and death metal (Entombed, Unleashed), but to tell it short it's raging thrash metal. Damn, there are some guitar riffs that really makes my hair stand up! I enjoy a lot the old school of thrash metal and if that's spiced a little with a fresh sound, that gets on my full-rotation play-list, hehe. Methedras can be proud of the connections installed between each instrumentists. They are good and worth to be checked by any thrash metal fans out there. This album is so fast and nervous, it will crush your ears!
