Review: First official and professional release of Holy Sinner is this EP that comes 3 years away from their first and only demo. This one is recorded this year at the Matters of Sound Studios from Florence and has a nice and clean sound. These guys are 6, but when I listen to their music it seems something's still missing, although they cover all basic instruments (bass, guitars, drums and keys). Their guitar riffs are overused in our days and maybe their only advantage is the use of keyboards in the background. They have a good debut in this EP, but they need to work more on coagulating more their ideas till the album's out. This is a good music, but not one that stands in front yet. To give you a hint of what they play, thie is a combination of Maiden and Savatage, but with a simple and minimalist approach. I liked the last track, "The Spider" where you can hear that they are trying their best. The bassist is nervous as hell and gives a lot of energy to the whole. I'm curious of their next product, but I'm confident they'll do a good job.
