Review: I won't say anything about this band's history, as I'll talk with them for Tempest in the near future and you'll be able to find out more. Now I'll stick to this demo as it is preety impressive and had a nice impact on me. These Italians are trying to create their own style: "power epic progressive metal", but I think there already are bands using this description to their music, so that wouldn't be original anymore, but anyway, this description I guess gives you an idea of what we are dealing with. Fighting Warriors are still in the underground, but if this demo is promoted properly and they'll find a label willing to invest some money in a profi studio for recordings, they'll have the chance to reach that power metal mainstream if I may say so. It seems Luca, the keyboard player is "the key" man in this band (funny use of words) as he's a genious and gives the whole concept a great atmosphere, that epic touch all power metal need. Also, beside that, Cinzia's voice is sometimes streightened by choirs and that again is a good epic touch. The slow piano parts are all that this CD needed more to be a great one. Too bad the sound is not at such standards as the music is... A curious thing: at the end of track 4 there's one of those "reversed-band" thing which maybe wants to be some sort of demon. The lyrical concept is a story of a knight, Iarus and his introspective fight with himself. this is only the begining of the story and I guess it will be continued on their debut-album.
