Review: Old release but as I got it now I'll review it - it's not the only CD from the past that I receive, so as long as the release year is mentioned above, I don't see a problem. Else went as a trio for this album and as they have lately told me the story I know it was a rush back then to record it. Too bad because an album is supposed to feature the best of every musician in a band, a quitessence of their skills and music if I might say so. The instrumental part on these 10 tracks is somewhere between heavy metal and hard rock, but the voice is so weird that it made me think a lot to find a place for it in some genres, so I would characterize the vocalist a combination of industrial, alternative and glam rock wanna be, if you can immagine such a thing...yes, me neither, hahaha. Sorry, but this vocalist ruins it all trying to be all his idols. Else has a good conception musicalwise, but there are a lot of overused parts too. The best track (or my fave one) is the fourth, a ballad with quite a lot of emotions. They are now a completely different line-up (none of the guys on this album is in the band at the time) so it's interesting to wait and see what changes will be on the next release. An advantage for Else on "The Pressure" goes to the composition part, but the execution needs more and more work. The album cover instead is simply brilliant!
